What building automation systems is this compatible with?
The TouchETH supports any HTML5-based building automation system. It's compatible with popular platforms like Tridium Niagara, CODESYS Web Visu, Node-RED, Apache-based systems, and other web-based HVAC/BAS control systems. If your BAS has an HTML5 interface, it will work with this HMI.
How difficult is the installation process?
Installation is straightforward. Simply mount the unit using the included hardware, connect power via the included USB-C adapter, connect Ethernet, and use the built-in network configuration tool to set your IP address. The interface is intuitive and designed for field technicians. Full installation manual is included with step-by-step procedures and mounting instructions.
What warranty coverage is included?
Every TouchETH includes a 1-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions. The warranty covers the display, touchscreen, electronics, and housing.
Can I use this in harsh industrial environments?
Yes! The TouchETH features an industrial-grade aluminum CNC case with fanless cooling system and a wide operating temperature range (-20°C to +60°C). Are other screen sizes available?
The TouchETH series is based on the EDAtec HMI3010 platform and can be configured in multiple sizes including 7.0" (1024×600) and 15.6" displays. How do I configure network settings?
The TouchETH includes an embedded network configuration tool accessible directly from the touchscreen. You can configure network settings without connecting a laptop or external configuration device. The interface is intuitive and designed for field technicians who need to configure devices on-site quickly.
What's included in the box?
Each TouchETH package includes: the HMI touchscreen unit, 5VDC USB-C power supply, mounting hardware, quick start guide, and warranty documentation. Ethernet cable is not included (standard Cat5e/Cat6 cable required). Everything you need to deploy immediately is in the box.
